6.2 THE SWISS-HUNGARIAN CADASTRAL MAPPING PROJECT
The short-term needs in privatization of land and the long-term needs in actualized data for the Municipality of Budapest can only be satisfied by the construction of a Land Information System (LIS), as a basic service for land registration as well as for many other uses in all political, economical or social domains.
